Between my last post and now, I did spend roughly 54 hours traveling on rails, roads and in the air. I spent the time in three different countries; one south, one north and one cut in half by the polar circle.

As the swine flu spreads, countries are monitor-scanning people for abnormal body temperatures at airports and borders are tightened: the virus named homo sapiens threatened by a virus with a much less spectacular name, A/H1N1. (Here, homo sapiens is only figuratively a virus for its destructive potential.) At the same time, the U.S. wonders about its offensive capability in cyberspace warfare; cyberweapons are the new LEGO bricks for the Pentagon kindergarten.

Whatever. I just wanted to share with you a selection of the pictures taken in Berlin.
